Well I have to admitt I was disappointed in the turn out of Trick or Treaters that showed up at the Ole Van this year for free candy, I had all the good stuff too. I gave all the signs that I was open for business.....Headlights were on, the dome light in the front area was on and I even turned on the light in the cargo area. For some reason I just didn't have the turn out like I did in the past. Now what to do with all this candy?

Melt all the candy together, pour it on a large pan, or into a pot and let it cool. Cut and sell as energy bars.

I bought 5 bags of candy (Twix, Milky Way, Skittles, Starburst and 3 Musketeers) and had zero people trick or treating.

Had there even been one kid who came a knocking, they would have hit the freaking sugar jackpot.

seems to be for several years now that some neighborhoods are known trick or treat spots and kids from other areas are driven to those neighborhoods. I don't live in one but I have seen cars parked up and down the highway near one Harahan neighborhood.

0.0 kids came here..i stood in the heavy bush area outside the front porch for a good 20 mins out in the rain..no activity,i said the hell with it,nobody to scare the **** out of..i took my private fun out to the garage with dim light.i had my halloween just fine..

I guess I had about 20 altogther...
