Anyone play?

My partner and I played the World Amatuer Doubles Tournament this past weekend, it was a ball! We didn't win any money or fabulous prizes but we didn't place last either. I think we'll be playing some more tournaments in the very near future.

I enjoy it dont play often I generally play 9 holes of par 3 and shoot a 34ish Where would that put me in a tourney, Last?

I play fairly regularly. I've played all the courses up here in Shreveport/Bossier, and I played quite a bit last year when I was up in Wichita Falls, TX.

Now, i try and get in at least one round whenever I go out of town.....

Dude, back in highschool, we used to get famously blasted on the green leaf and hit a local state park, which has a course on it. Killer times were had by all. Even sober, its a good time.

I haven't done either in years. Now im bitter, and have turned to guns, and God.

play every year in tampa when i go to the saints/bux game. clearwater has some excellent courses. outgrown the ganja---now i carry a large cap'n and coke.

It's huge here in Tulsa. I played a couple of times last year. I even wrote about it for my paper and every time I talk to someone affiliated with a tournament they say the same thing.

"It's not all hippie dope smokers" But, there are a lot.

use to play 2-3 times a week after work. there was a course a block from the shop that was on a golf course. the golf course at one time was a 27 hole with 9 being a par 3. we went in one day and asked the guy in the pro shop if we could play and it turned into a nice deal for the course. the golfers didn't really play that set of holes that much and we filled it almost every night even when the weather wasn't good. the shortest hole was 105 yards longest was 240. nice layout and lots of trees. don't know if its still there but had some great times there. I still have a backpack with 3-4 discs in it some where.

Depends on the tournament and division. I have found that playing with better players has helped me to improve. I just need to figure out what is wrong with my drive technique. I have not been able to throw anything over 300'.

You play the course at St. Andrews? It looked pretty cool...but I didn't have time to play it last time I was out there.

It's a blast. I play anywhere from 2-5 rounds a week usually. If not that, I hit an open field and work on my driving.
Highland Road here in BR is usually full on weekends with all the LSU students.
