I figured this would be a good time to ask, so that if they do end up winning at all, we don't have people suddenly coming out of the woodwork claiming they won money (unless, of course, they merely bet that specific game).

It's no one's business how much you may have actually wagered, but feel free to share if you wish.......mainly I'm interested in when you wagered and which odds you got.

I wagered prior to the start of the season, at 10.5 to 1 odds. I could give some extensive reasons as to why I did so, and may very well do so somewhere down the road, but the short answer is simply (a) I felt it is their time and (b) I felt like whoever ultimately wins the Super Bowl will be the team with the most familiarity/trust with one another, given Covid circumstances. These Saints have mostly been together since 2017.

I've never done any betting online. Simply because I don't understand it enough and wouldn't know where to start. Plus, I get addicted to stuff so I'm still on the fence. Retirement is coming soon so I'll probably get bored and throw my money someplace. Might as well try my odds.

In the UK The Saints were 12/1 at the start of the season, you can still back them at 11/1 on Betfair having been layed at a high of 16/1....taking 10.5/1 before the season was a rotten price considering you can back them at higher odds now .....I wish you luck but I would change your bookie before you you bet next season......and yes I have backed them at 11/1 each way at half the odds to reach the Superbowl so get 5.5/1 to get there

If you are allowed to bet into UK markets you will get a wider range in prices compared to any Vegas line which is fairly static and often offers poor value....you can view a range of bookies prices at www.oddschecker.co.uk which will show prices from multiple bookies on multiple markets

I reckon The Bills are a pretty close knit group

I'm currently seeing 8 to 1 odds on the Saints, not sure where you're seeing something higher than 10.5 to 1.

Also, while I have taken this particular wager a couple of times in the past, I haven't taken it every year (and seriously doubt I will be taking it next season, particularly if there is no Brees)......this specific year just felt right. Also, I didn't use a bookie or wager it online, I wagered at a casino.

I have them to win the NFC at +650

Also have the Ravens to win the AFC at +1600 from around mid season.
Nice hedging opportunities on that one.

The day before the Texans/Chiefs kickoff game, I made a $40 future bet for the Saints to win the Super Bowl. If they win, I get $520.

I was in Vegas this year pre-COVID. $100 @ 11 to 1 odds. (Edit - oops in 2020, not this year.)

it was my first time ever in Vegas. Figured I couldn’t be there and NOT bet the Saints to win the Super Bowl.

Hopefully you will have 1100 reasons to head back out there relatively soon.

I believe I can bet on this new Oregon sports app, so it males me nervous. I may bet on another team though!
