According to Pro Football Focus rankings Olave comes in at number 27, below two rookies who have yet to play a single down and also behind Drake London who hasn't had a 1,000 yard season as of yet. Olave has 2 back to back since entering the league. PFFs Sam Monson shared his rankings for the top 32 receivers going into 2024. Do you think his ranking of Olave is fair or is it a bit lower than where it should be?

The Offensive Rookie of the Year voters got it wrong in recognizing Wilson over Olave for that award in 2022, and we’re still mad about it.

smooth mover, Chris Olave averaged 2.07 yards per route run last season and has 49 explosive plays over his first two seasons in the league. With Derek Carr playing well down the stretch, Olave could have a big year in 2024.
Hopefully Klint Kubiak’s offense and a more-confident Carr lead to even greater heights for Olave in 2024. But he should already be seen as a top-20 player at his position. Just 15 players around the NFL have converted more first downs since he turned pro, and one of them is a tight end (Travis Kelce). Olave deserves more respect. Let’s hope he plays so loud in 2024 that national writers can’t keep ignoring him.

He hasn't played up to his talent level for sure, but has probably been held back at least a little by QB play.

Olave needs to run to daylight on deeper passes so the QB won't have to throw into tight windows. He also needs to keep his feet better after the catch, which improved only a little in his 2nd year.

He has the talent to catch fire and be a top 10 WR, we will see.

Saw this one the other day and saved it.

Olave (2022-2023) vs. Lamb (2020-2021)

Granted, Lamb would go on to explode the next two seasons but who’s to say Olave can’t either.
Lamb was drafted to a Cowboys team already with a #1 WR. Olave was thrusted into the #1 his rookie year so it's not a great comparison.

I feel like he has done very well so far but has not lived up to his full abilities yet. He has the speed and route running ability to be great, but he has had issues with completing catches to the ground.

I do think a new offensive system will help him especially on deeper routes as the play action is designed to hold Safeties. Only time will tell but I do see him improving each season and thankfully not regressing.

He should definitely be higher. I'd easily move him up to 22 but I'd bump Keenan Allen to 21 and drop Marvin Harrison Jr. down behind Olave.

I think people are expecting more. Stat wise he deserve more respect. But he needs to have games where he just dominate.
Exactly! He has the talent to do just that, but needs help from coaching and the QB.
