How does everyone feel about Ian book? Considering neither Hill nor Winston have separated does this guy have a chance to steal QB1?

I think things would have to go really bad before that happened. Unless he just starts lighting it up in practice. He didn’t get any pass attempts today so that seems unlikely.

Well that's true. But Books is going against two guys that has been with the team for 4 years combine and has proven to be starters. So the odds are really against him.

He’s going to the practice squad

Doubtful, he’d be on an active roster quick if Sean tries to PS Book. Much more likely he goes to IR, but even that is unlikely as he’d lose the practice development time.

We keep 3 QB's on the roster, espeically with the way we use Hill on offense. I can see Book beating out Semian for the 3rd QB.

He’s going to the practice squad

If the Saints try to put him on the practice squad another team will likely claim his contract.
Even if they don't a practice squad player is on a week to week deal and any team can sign him at any time as long as they are willing to keep him on the 53 man roster for at least 3 weeks.
