The performance was anomalously good. Still, today is the day to enjoy it. We can spend the rest of the week and season tempering our expectations and coming back down to earth. I am glad that Saints fans (and not anyone else) were able to enjoy such an amazing victory.

As a fan I have no choice but to eat the cheese that my team delivered last night. I have to eat it all and I have to enjoy it. This is Drew's last season. This was probably the last time we'll ever see Brees go against Brady. And so what does Drew do? He torches one of the best defenses in football on the road while Brady throws 3 picks and looks lost.

The defense wasn't just good they were dominant. Couldn't run on them. Brady could barely get a pass off because the front 4 were playing like Brady ate the last of the cereal and put the empty box back in the cabinet. And when Brady did get a pass off the Secondary was not just in the general vicinity of their guy, they were in position to actually make a play on the ball.

So yeah, having said all that, I'm going to eat this cheese all week.
