Anybody know why Steven Tyler's voice sounds different on this song from pretty much all other Aerosmith songs?

I think it was their first single. Maybe he just hadn't fully developed his vocal style yet?

I don't think it does. IMO. To me Dream On is unmistakably Steven Tyler.

I just youtubed the other songs off that first album and his voice is the same on all the songs, I think it was just the recording.
