Proof the Pelicans don’t know the evaluate or coach the talent the have now or in the past.

Hawks commentator Bob Rathbun in the second term noted “one thing opponents are finding out about Dyson Daniels is relentless is hard to deal with,” with the young gun at his menacing best on the defensive end.
“The Dyson Daniels effect, everyone thinking steals and defence,” Rathbun noted.

Fellow Hawks commentator Dominique Wilkins responded: “Contagious man.”

Yep, Dyson on track for First-Team All Defense honours and the Pels traded him for a bag of potato chips.

Unfortunate, I liked having an Australian on the team (and my local friends in NOLA who are season ticket holders would routinely sit with his mother and tell me how nice she was).

Dejounte Murray is a bag of potato chips???

I think we knew what Dyson was. He is a great defensive player, but is not really a distributor or a scorer.

Who knows how it will work with Dejounte. If you believe the stories that are out there, the whole team might get blown up before we ever really find out. But he's an all star caliber player and Dyson is not.

Fitting he had 19 pts against our defense the other night. Tell me what is not to like about these stats

Perhaps traded the wrong guy for Murray?

Not sure I completely agree with this. The reason why Dyson didn't flourish here is Willie Green's stubbornness to develop and use him.

His offense might be suspect but he has become one of the best defenders in the league. Something Pelicans have lacked,

Good for him but I personally couldn’t care less about what former players do after leaving the Pels in some fashion.

I would rather move onward and forward but that is me and maybe not some others:

Do you think this team is moving forward? What has Zion done and when is he returning? How has coaching been?

We have been moving forward since disposing the Baron Davis era. How has that worked out the last twenty five years?

Makes it glaring when Ingram called out Green when saying "We are winning game on talent."

The offense don't run a system that's made to get the most out of players.

Dyson and Naji are flourishing in real system.

This is the problem

Even relatively average players like Naji can look good in an actual system.

It also really helps when you have actual stars like Kyrie and Luka. Dyson and Naji have the benefit now of actual stars and not guys that like to think they’re stars like BI/Zion.

Im not seeing how this is helping move this team forward? What does yet another Dyson thread do to actually further conversation? I swear I saw pretty much this exact thread 2 weeks ago.

I don’t care about Zion and want him gone yesterday. I want Green and Griff gone yesterday and have been consistent about that. New FO/Coaching and getting rid of the albatross that is Zion is a way forward.

If people want to cheer for Dyson or Naji or whatever great but I want to talk about actual solutions.
