Imagine being that miserable to where you act that way in a game that your team basically controlled for the entirety.

I'm sure somebody out there may have a story that will contradict this, but I've never had anybody from an opposing fanbase tell me that they were treated anything like this in the Dome by Saints fans. They always talked about how cool Saints fans are.

That original video was hard to watch. What grown arse man acts that way? I'm so glad they tracked him down and he had to pay for being stupid. They should track down everyone around him that did nothing as they're as guilty as he is.

It's not just the Eagles fans.....though I agree on Saints/Packers fans being generally chiller, you can go to almost any stadium and there are (mostly) drunk idiots the further up the steps you go.....

They aren't there to see the football game, they are there to emote their anger on someone.....it's sad but I've seen it way too often.....

thought about that too.

Very easily could have been goaded into a physical altercation, and labeled the "aggressor" and ended up in a much worse situation.

This episode was really about him maintaining his cool while allowing that jackleg the opportunity to bury himself.

And dang if it aint nice when it works how it is supposed to ( karma )

I put myself in that situation and i think, in my 30s, there would have been zero chance of me not losing it and brawling with him and his buddies. Now, in my 50s, im tucking tail.

I sat in the 600s section in dome for 17 years.

Never once in those 17 years did i hear anything from a Saints fan that equated to what that guy was saying and the manner in which he said it.

Im sure some dopey 20-something yr olds have, in past. But this wasnt some 20-something yr old dude. This was a mid 40s, husband, father to a daughter and professional. And im sure not the first iteration of his derogatory comments towards a woman.
