Has anyone been following the Ed Reed Bethune-Cookman story? He was hired to be the HC at Bethune-Cookman, and when it came time to put pen to paper he found that many of the things that had been agreed upon (in the preliminary hiring discussions) weren’t actually approved by the school’s Athletic Department.

Ed voiced his displeasure and invoked Deion Sanders name, as his time at Jackson St ran its course due to poor management by their Athletic Department.

What’s the deal here? I don’t know enough about HBCUs to say one thing or the other, but from all accounts, it seems like the kids are the ones left holding the bag.
