The ESPN Coverage has been all pro-Saints. They love us and based on this performance they should continue to love us. This assumes we go on to win by at least three TDs, so hopefully this post is not premature.

Steve Young just said our defense is not good enough to challenge the Packers. A couple weeks ago the NYG could.

ESPN coverage is pretty good for the most part. They definitely gave the Saints the respect that they deserve tonight.

Way better than what NBC and SNF do. They are anything but pro saints.

Am I the only one that is not used to seeing commentators / analysts being pro Saints? I'm like... what team are you talking about? I'm just used to them being all negative. Even in the 2009 season it was all "They are good BUT..." B.S.

Just weird but nice!

Wait till Bayless gets going tomorrow...you'll change your tune...fortunately for me, I won't watch, and unfortunately for bunches of you people, there will be a 8 page thread ripping Bayless because he will say that we can't win it all...LOLOL...suckers.

Interesting how ESPN is now totally in y'all graces because they gave some airtime to the Saints....

And when they stop, it will be ESPN sucks again, no?

ESPN isn't in anyone's "graces". ESPN usually has NOTHING to say about us until we blast someone on MNF. This thread is just a way to say "wow, they're talking good about us for a change, it's nice". If no one at least said it, what would you be saying then? I think it shows a lot of unbiased-ness. When ESPN ignores us for a month straight, we get mad. When they talk us up, we notice it and are thankful.

Guys like Bayless and Cowherd are not true analysts... they are critics. They get paid well because they piss a lot of viewers off, but continue to view and keep the ratings high. Cowherd has admitted as much... he does everything for ratings and loves doing interviews that end up in arguments because arguments get high ratings.

ESPN likes the entertaining, high-scoring offenses that bring people to their TV's. It doesn't hurt that John Gruden is pretty much a biased Saints fan :hihi:
