Agreed. We’ve lost to the Vikings and Packers - two teams that will be in the muddled mess for the 7th seed (as the Lions will likely have the North wrapped up in a few weeks).

It’s 4th seed or nothing for the Saints. Division or nothing.

I think our playoff chances will come down to whether we can beat the Bucs in Tampa in week 17. that seems to be the pivotal game.

I'd like to play Seattle at home. If we gonna get some kind of satisfaction out of the season.. hosting with a lower record and knocking them out the playoffs would fit nicely.

Regardless what I think about the team in a given year, I always enjoy fiddling with the playoff machine.

Playing around, the Saints, Falcons, and Bucs all have ridiculously easy schedules. The division is going to come down to how the three play against each other as the rest of the season are mostly highly dysfunctional losing teams. A three way 9-8 tie seems somewhat probable.
