That is what the New Orleans Saints earned after defeating the Indianapolis Colts, 31-17, in Super Bowl XLIV.

At Wednesday night’s ESPYs Awards, we got an opportunity to see how much respect the Saints earned since winning their first world championship. The Saints were one of six teams up for the most prestigious of the evening — Best Team.

But compared to the other professional or college champions, one had to wonder how the Saints would stack up?

I was hopeful that the Saints would walk away with team of the year, but I was skeptical because the competition was tough.
