Fast, Physical, Flying Defense (1 Viewer)

It’s been a very very long time since I’ve seen a Defence play like they did today. They were fast, they were physical, they were high flying and they were confident!

They literally brought the hammer to them today. I’ve seen some great defensive performances but the way we played today I think was very very very special.

Just the way our bodies were flying around the field playing with that confidence, it’s something very very special. I know yall enjoyed it as much as me.

This defence truly has a chance to be truly special and after today I see a ton of speed and confidence going into next week.

When you got that confidence and can play without a second thought, you are going to do some special things and we are on that track.

Major kudos to this group and the coaches! Another close to compete game in all phases and a confidence and execution of the plan that we haven’t seen in years!

Both of our lines just had their way today and last week for that matter. If the lines continue to play at that level while improving, we’re a tough out every freakin’ week.

IMO the defensive guys seem like they feel they can play looser and if they make a mistake they have an offense that can make up for that mistake, much like 09, and unlike last season when it was all on them.

I think we will see a defense that’s all over the field causing havoc and creating turnovers, may give up a bunch of yards but won't give up many touchdowns. We haven’t had this complete of a team since 2011…
