Not great news on TQS as he will be out for at least the first playoff game (unless we get the 1-seed).

Marcus Williams & Easton out.

Also, Peat, Hendrickson and Brown all questionable. I don't like that Hendrickson was DNP today. Hopefully there wasn't a setback and they're just being cautious.

I must have missed where the link says that Tre'Quan Smith is assigned to IR. ??

Here's more information, and some other transactions, too:

Right guard Nick Easton (concussion) and safety Marcus Williams (ankle) were both ruled out. Wide receiver Tre'Quan Smith was initially ruled out with an ankle injury before being placed on injured reserve.

The Saints also activated wideout Marquez Callaway from injured reserve, promoted wide receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey from the practice squad, and signed wide receiver Austin Carr from the practice squad. Wide receiver Tommylee Lewis and guard Patrick Omameh were waived to round out the day’s moves.

Sucks we won’t have TreQuan next week or in the wild card but let’s be realistic, we can survive these two games and a game against the Cardinals. Their defense is horrible and we’ll get Thomas and Harris back.

I just hope we can get him back for the divisional game

I think an underrated move is the re-acquisition of Patrick Omameh on the offensive line. With Easton struggling with concussions and Peat questionable on that ankle he has a chance to start. I feel good if he has to come in. We should never have released him.
