Denver was once my ‘second team’ back around the Orange Crush days. I also pulled for Denver to win the Superbowls they played in. I was happy when Elway finally won it all.

I’ll be curious to see what Payton can do for a team that is mostly in turmoil. But I really won’t care much whether the Broncos win or lose. The only way that I will be upset to see the Sean Payton coached Broncos have real success is if the Saints crash & burn in the years to come.

I’ve moved on from Payton. But I just don’t want to see him have more success than us. That would be a bit tough to swallow.
