YouTube’s suggestions fed me this random video posted a year ago.

Mostly non-Saints, except for the part that shows aerial views of Tulane Stadium in the late 1960s and what that spot has on it today.

Plenty of old NFL stadiums fans of a certain age can certainly remember. Some became parking lots, some became student housing, others became empty lots!

Biggest take, Foxboro needs to be renamed to Tom Brady Field.

Very cool, thanks for sharing. Candlestick park still gives me nightmares...
That franchise owned us when it counted most during Bum’s and Mora’s time, but it’s not like we were totally winless there. Won there in ‘82, ‘85, ‘87 and ‘90. Never did beat Montana in our own Dome.

Been to a few of those that are gone or no longer used. Astrodome, Jack Murphy Stadium…..and the Superdome saw a lot of those come and go.

Btw….good riddance to Candlestick park. I hated that stadium and the team that played in it. :)

The video may or may not have already alluded to this but the former Tulane Stadium is now a parking lot for the Tulane Medical School of Nursing in Metairie, La.

The site where old Metropolitan Stadium was for the Minnesota Vikings in Bloomington, Minnesota is now the Mall of America.

The old Orange Bowl in Miami's Little Havana was controversially turned into the Miami Marlins' new stadium, Loan Depot Field, in 2012.

I think its more likely they'll change the name of the stadium to honor owner Robert Kraft once he's gone for his contributions on saving NFL football in New England from being shipped off to St. Louis in 1992 and transforming them into a world-renowned, first-rate franchise. Plus, there's a precedent already in the area's history as they re-named old Foxboro Stadium, Sullivan Stadium, after the original family who founded and owned the team in the early 80's.

Tulane Stadium was part of Tulane's campus, not Metairie.

I hated that whole organization with a passion. They are still my #1 hated team.
Any old timer fan who doesn't feel the same is just wild to me. There can be no other, that team ruined my football childhood. It's the only team in the whole league that I truly hate with all of my heart.

Wikipedia:

Tulane Stadium
was an outdoor football stadium in the southern United States on the campus of Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. It stood from 1926 to 1980 and was officially the Third Tulane Stadium, following the "Second Tulane Stadium", which was located where the Telephone Exchange Building is now.[1]

The former site is currently bound by Willow Street to the south, Ben Weiner Drive to the east, the Tulane University property line west of McAlister Place, and the Hertz Basketball/Volleyball Practice Facility and the Green Wave's current home, Yulman Stadium, to the north.
