Free Agents Salary Cap Question (1 Viewer)

We have just signed a handful of free agents for probably the league minimum.. Is that about 250K? and count towards the salary cap?

Did we contract them for a weekly salary and will only sign them to the league minimum if they make the team?

If we signed them for the league minimum and that amount counts against the cap then aren't we pulling out the spare cap. change we are trying to accumulate for Drew? Is it worth it for extra the extra bodies?

I realize now that I did not have to create a new thread for this.. could have gotten the answer within another thread.. anyway.. thanks ya'll.

Yeah, the top 51 count against the cap until the rosters for week 1 are set. At that point, all 53 players on the week one roster as well as the 8 players on the practice squad must be under the salary cap.
