So before I say this: both calls/non-calls (I won't equate them on merit) were bad and the fans have every right to be extremely upset.

But whenever a "fan" of the NFL's other 31 teams want to call us "babies" for demanding something be done, point them to this.

For what was done to us, our fans and players handled it EXTREMELY well and professionally.

Exactly...and this was a regular season game, a big game, but regular season nonetheless. It wasn't inside of 2 minutes in the NFC Championship game. There were a few things thrown on the field after the debacle, but nothing compared to this; in most NFL cities, if their team would be robbed like we were, there would be riots all over that city.

There's a part of me that wishes we had rioted.

I'm tired of being a good sport, and such a wonderful host for visiting fans.

I want to be a part of a fan base and organization that lives only to scorch the NFL earth.

No more Mr. Nice Guy.

Bottlegate in Cleveland after the officials make a hash out of things:

That's almost as bad because a playoff spot was at stake. Still not as bad as what happened to the Saints. First of all, I think it was a catch. Second, a play was run.
Too ******** bad the replay system didn't work. The Browns should have had the ball. Then, there should have been grounding on Couch. Quite a fiasco there.

Edit: They called the game with 48 seconds left, BUT PAUL TAGLIABUE MADE THEM COMPLETE IT. In other words, Tagliabue made them do the right thing in stark contrast to the behavior of the current commissioner.

The big thing I see is, this just goes to show that there haves and have-nots.

The Browns. The Saints.

There are certain NFL teams that you just know in a million years that this kind of crap would never happen to, and then there are the Browns and Saints.

That's why I call BS on any person who says this is "just part of the game" or "just the human factor."

Honestly, in that Browns game there isn't much comparison. First, even though they did it in a messed up way, the refs ended up getting the call correct. Second, Saints were essentially guaranteed a win and a trip to the Super Bowl with the correct call. The Browns would have still scored a touchdown to maybe go to the playoffs and we all know the probability of that was likely less than a coin flip.

Yes, I've said this after the game.. I'm tired of the Saints being on the wrong side of history.

After working near Cleveland last year I kinda have adopted the Browns as like a baby brother to New Orleans. I know tons of fans that I have worked with and they deserve a winner. Ownership and management has been a major issue over the years but hopefully they got it right this time.

I watched a lot of Browns games and they were fun too watch. Hopefully they take a big step next year.

The NFL knows which teams they can pull this type of crap on. And it's not large market teams.
