I’ve only been to a few nfl stadiums in my lifetime, so I’m not sure how good or bad the Superdome actually is. I do think the seats were cramped, that may have been improved over the years.

Minny is #1 and Washington is last.

26. Caesars Superdome

Team: New Orleans Saints

Seating capacity: 73,000

Google review: 4.6 stars

It cracked the top 15 a few years ago, but it dropped significantly after ranking in the bottom three in the league on eight ballots. It has hosted a record seven Super Bowls and will get its eighth in 2025.

“The Caesars Superdome gets to host Super Bowls because it’s in New Orleans, not because of the facility,” Larry Holder wrote. “It’s one of the older venues to house an NFL franchise having opened its doors in 1975. The Dome atmosphere can pack a punch when the Saints are rolling. But the building certainly feels old with zero chance of a new facility anytime soon. Plus you’d expect better cuisine inside the Dome for a city known for its dining (although it’s known for excellent Bloody Marys). That said, the Dome is on the back nine of a significant renovation that should be complete by the time the Dome hosts Super Bowl LIX on Feb. 9, 2025.”

Can't read the article because of the stupid paywall...

This is stupid, the Dome is going through a multimillion dollar face lift, can't wait to see where it ranks in '25.

No problem with this ranking. It's been improved - and I want to stay in the dome as long as possible... but it doesn't belong anywhere near the top 20 except for game atmosphere and location.

The dome is really bad. The fans, neighborhood, city, and team are all very good. The exterior looks cool and is certainly unique and iconic. But the physical interior of the dome is lame.

I forgot about Larry Holder! Why haven’t we seen any of his tweets on the training camp threads. I used to like him.

6. GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium

Team: Kansas City Chiefs

Seating capacity: 76,416

Google review: 4.7 stars

It would be tough to find a better game-day atmosphere. The tailgating scene is outstanding and the crowd noise during games is among the best in the league. The venue has aged well considering the Chiefs have been playing there since 1972.
Where is Arrowhead ranked? If it's in the top 15 then this is a hit piece because Arrowhead is terrible. Old and rundown. In desperate need of a wrecking ball.

Superbowl effect. Arrowhead is a pit. Notice it's all atmosphere. Crowd noise? Please. How many SBs have been played in KC? Zero, for a reason...

Hate the Falcons, but love their stadium.
Of course it’s their 3rd attempt all while we’ve had the glorious Dome…..but the current venue is so nice.

And it doesn’t hurt that prices are ridiculous…..cokes $1.50, hot dogs $2.50, etc.

The Superdome is fine and is being substantially upgraded. It has an exterior and a location that are good as any in the league.

And nobody goes to a football game for the stadium.

Couldn't be more wrong here for college or pro football stadiums. Been to Seattle, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago and every SEC venue just for the Stadium experience. Also, Rose Bowl, LA coliseum, Cal Berkeley, Notre Dame Stadium and many more just for Stadium and/or experience.

Yep, and while I'm sure they'll make the concourses look nice in the renovation, they're not going to fix the leg room in the seats, which is horrible by any standards. I'm a 5'11 guy with bad knees and need to take an Ibuprofen after the game unless the person in front of me no-shows and i can just drape my legs over the seat in front of me.

I'll always have a sentimental attachment to the Dome since I've been going to games there since my first in 1983, and the size of it is indeed impressive and it's become a part of the NOLA skyline but I'm not sure why anyone who doesn't have sentimental attachments to it would think it's a good stadium.
