I have a space in garage 5 but I’m unfortunately aware of that specific space.Does anyone know where E 150 is at in Garage 5?
I have an offer from the ticket office to purchase the space, Just curious as to how long it will take me to get out after games.I have a space in garage 5 but I’m unfortunately aware of that specific space.
Are you purchasing this space from the ticket office?
Are you trying to determine if it’s covered or on the top deck?

Ticket office can tell you exactly where it is. Think E section is an outer deck and 150 is up a bit. So most games that’s going to be a while getting out…I received an email with this information

Very true. I’ve been on the outer deck of garage 5 for many, many years and it can get very congested getting out.Ticket office can tell you exactly where it is. Think E section is an outer deck and 150 is up a bit. So most games that’s going to be a while getting out…
That is the main reason I was looking at Garage 5 was I10 West access. I just dont know about about having to sit in the Garage for exteded times trying to leave. Also consider that if you need to access 10-west post-game, garage 5 is one of the closest to the on-ramp.
the garage is great before the game. horrible after the game, unless you have time to party for a few hours or go eat somewhere.I have an offer from the ticket office to purchase the space, Just curious as to how long it will take me to get out after games.
There are a lot of things to factor into the decision - as you are seemingly aware. That is the main reason I was looking at Garage 5 was I10 West access. I just dont know about about having to sit in the Garage for exteded times trying to leave.
I can chime in as someone in the 110s in Garage 6. Everything he said was true. I will also offer that my space is a short walk and one set of stairs, which was perfect for getting my mom with mobility issues in and out the building for years. There are a lot of things to factor into the decision - as you are seemingly aware.
if you leave the dome right after the end of the game with the masses of people - you will definitely wait at least 45 mins to an hour to get to the I-10 ramp. Sadly, it’s because the NOPD refuse to do contraflow around the Dome. So what ends up happening is people in the garage are trying to make left turns out of the portal, across 3 lanes of traffic to exit. As you can imagine - it can get to be congested mess.
If you leave at the 2 minute warning (obviously not ideal) - you’ll zip right out.
If you take your time exiting the Dome and hang out for a bit - you’ll find it will clear out enough to move pretty fast within 45 minutes or so. We typically wait out the congestion and just chill out. It’s really awesome on a fall afternoon - especially when we win.
I love my parking pass. I love knowing I have a reserved space that is safe and somewhat secure from theft and vandalism.
I recommend it!
