He's kind of a do-it-all athlete with experience in all three areas of the game. Another site compared him to Rex Burkhead b/c of the similar size and do-it-all game, but Funk is about 10lbs lighter and a lot faster/quicker.

Exactly. There is literally nothing wrong with signing a young talented player to the practice squad at an area of need to see if he could develop or help the team. I'm not sure why there are negative posts about it, nevermind I remembered where I was.

Has anyone verified this yet? I checked the Saints roster and haven't seen anything yet. They don't have Jordan Howard on the PS yet. But a lot of times they are slow in updating the roster.

I’m not too familiar with him, but my guess is that he’s a gym rat… more quick than fast, but makes up for it by being a student of the game. Probably a “lunch pail” type of player. The kinda guy you’d want your daughter to bring home.
