It's a great day for an NFC Championship. I'm here in Denver, CO near DIA and it's 26 degrees and snowing. I just went out and saw 6" of snow in my driveway, and just to let you know, I have on a black longsleeve Nike light weight thermal similar to those thin Under Armor shirts with a black short sleve Saints t-shirt and just finished shoveling my driveway which took about 20 min. and I was not cold. The snow is being driven by the wind, but it's not big flakes so visibility is very good. If it's anything like this in Chi-Town our boys should be able to handle it no problem. The snow and footing are another thing altogether. If they had the field covered and keep the field swept then everything should be fine. Here's to a great day, setting a new NFL record and a Saints NFC Championship.

I've been in snow, deep snow, many times in my life. Looking at the Chicago Cams, it looks like a nuissance more than anything else. Snow should not effect the game, too much, IMO. But, STAY AWAY SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN!!!

WOW, I just heard from a friend of a friend of mine that the TURF in Soldier Field is a distant relative of TURF in the Super Dome thru his sisters, cousins, mothers side of the family, and that they are real good friends but haven't seen each other in a while.

I had plans to go to a friends sports bar and get an awsome hamburger po-boy (my friend is a really good chef) made up specially for me, but now with the snow and them not opening till 11:00 I won't be able to make it there and back in time so it looks like the closest thing I can do is go get some POPEYES before the game. Oh well, it's a little taste of home. I really hope our boys come thru for us today so I can come back home to watch the Super Bowl with friends.
