Greer (1 Viewer)

Greer just happens to have the perfect passes thrown to the WR he is covering. Also being shorter doesn't help against tall WR's.

he got beat on pretty good last seattle game. Lets hope we give him some over the top help

He has a tendency to mis-time his jumps. That TD yesterday was Greer in great position, but the ball hung a little and he lost all of his leverage over the taller receiver. Something that I've noticed this season is some lapses in situational awareness, especially in the aforementioned Seattle game several weeks back. How many times did a receiver make a grab with Greer in coverage and it looked like Greer didn't even know the ball was thrown.
All in all, he's still one of the best in the conference, but he brings out the best in opposing qbs and receivers.

Actually it was Porter who looked bad yesterday......The blown coverage was him, that wide receiver screen missed tackle where Tampa almost scored was him. He was beat on some passes as well. He needs to play better, he seems to have taken a slight step back.

He is not sucking up to his guy and playing the ball, he is playing the receiver. This is concerning.

Yesterday it seemed like he jumped some routes, or was caught looking in the backfield. He had 2 plays where the WR got way behind him. I guess the safety was ultimately at fault perhaps.

Seems to struggling wonder if he still hurt

I don't believe that he's 100%. And On that touchdown pass, I believe the safety blew coverage on the backend.

From tiime to time everyone will have a bad game, these guys will be up to the task come saturday

Greer is fine, he just had some perfect pin point passes dropped over the top of his head.
