Guitar Hero 3/ Rock Band guitars (1 Viewer)

I've heard that you can use the guitars for either game with the other game. Then I heard you cant. Do any of you know the answer to this? Can I use a guitar Hero guitar on Rock Band?

The Guitar Hero guitars (at least the wired ones from 1 and 2) will work with Rock Band, but the Rock Band guitars will be very limited/not work with Guitar Hero.

Ok. Cause I'm picking up Guitar Hero 3 on wednesday and I planned on using that guitar as a bass when I get Rock Band.

The guys at gamestop told me that the GH3 PS3 guitars WILL work with Rock Band. Apparently the RB guitars will have a few extra features, but the GH3 guitars will be compatible. Don't know if that compatibility goes the other direction.

Every guitar will work with Rock Band, but the Rock Band guitar will NOT work with any game other than Rock Band.

Unfortunately for me, I wont be able to get ROck Band til Dec 18th... Canada got screwed....

I immediatly started singing "Blame Canada" from South Park to myself. I dont know why though. It should of been "Blame Rock Band"
