Help with ipod videos (2 Viewers)

ok guys i am looking for a way to convert my vids to mpeg-4 so i can play them on my ipods. I have different types of video files so is there a converter for what i am looking for? Thanks for any bit of help

Actually, doesn't iTunes convert them?

Free and legal Videora Ipod Converter is the way to go.

Maybe it does now, but until my iPod broke in November iTunes didn't convert them. I feel sorry for the non computer savvy people who shelled out a lot of money for an iPod video then never had a clue how to put them on.

If you are on the mac. isquint is the best. Converts for ipod or apple tv. Very quick. Free.

is there any programs that do this faster, i don't mind paying for a program, but videora is pretty slow with this.

i tried videora again, and I put all the settings for the highest quality. Right from the get go though the sound was off. it was not in sync.

This works great. They won't have the Ubuntu package posted until the next release but I did follow their directions to download the source and compile my own. There's an additional link with options to compile it in various archs so I was able to compile it in x86_64.

Works like a champ.

AVS video converter works pretty good, it's what I used to put my Saints vids on my Iphone.
