Anyone know of any good hotels in ATL with walking distance to the Georgia Dome?

Last year I stayed at some "Extended Stay" place, can't remember what it was exactly, but it was on the Marta line... and all you had to do was jump on that bad boy and it opens right up at the dome. You'd probably save some money too by doing that (seeing as hotels are probably cheaper farther out).

Depends on your cash flow. Best hotel in walking distance is the Omni at CNN center

I stayed at the Microtel airport. Schexnyder is right. Take MARTA right up to the dome and to your plane if need be. Save the $ for extra beers

Go to Priceline and name your own price. I always choose downtown, 4 star and bid $60 it has given me Hyatt Regency twice at this price Sheraton once both are like 10 blocks away but they usually have a free shuttle.
