The New Orleans Saints have struggled mightily to stop the run, so facing a team that prioritizes stopping the run will be difficult for them. It’s a challenge they’ll have to overcome if they want to beat the Los Angeles Chargers, however.
The addition of John Harbaugh and Greg Roman have dimmed the light of Justin Herbert a little bit by becoming a run first offense. Herbert crossed the 200 passing yard threshold for the first time two weeks ago and threw for 300 yards this past week.
