I guess this is a two-part question.

How much input does the Saints HC have in the room on draft day? How much did DA have?

How will draft strategy change with Moore as HC?

Moore has stated he likes playing to his team’s strength. I think he’ll approach the draft to BPA.

The saints oline was better at run blocking than pass blocking. Perhaps that means he wants Jeanty in the first and upgrade the LG position in the second. I’m just speculating here.

I’ve been looking at potential trades. I’m thinking about either Haener or Carr being traded. I’m not expecting a haul, but here are teams with multiple Day 3 picks after 150. 150 is where I consider players being selected are the equivalent of an UDFA.

Cleveland 12 picks overall
165, 181, 194, 202, 216, 217. 257

NYG 8 picks picks overall
155, 221, 248

Pitt 8 picks picks overall
163, 225, 231, 247

Pats 9 picks picks overall
219, 222, 240

Titans 8 picks picks overall
169, 180, 241

Jets 8 picks picks overall
157, 188, 210

I think Haener is the most likely trade, I could see Clevelanp possibly offering 2 of their 7ths for him just do to the sheer volume of picks they have. Which of these teams do you think would trade for him?

Much smaller chance of Onome Ojo getting drafted.
