In theory, Tenn over Bama would put Ole Miss in the catbird seat due to the Rebels' schedule, but I think Bama dropping a game like Tenn would benefit LSU the most.

A one dimensional run offense cannot hide a QB's flaws forever. Crompton will eventually be exposed when DCs call run stuffing plays and Kiffin tries to air it out.

I honestly don't see all the hype about bama this year. They are very very similar to Tennessee, except that they have a little bit of depth.

Both teams will have great D's and running backs. Both have issues on offensive line, receiver (one receiver does not cut it bama fans), and quarterback.

Just seem like almost identical teams to me except one team is ranked 5th and the other is ranked 45th. Somebody either has bama way overrated or Tennessee way underrated. I think it is bama is overrated, b/c until I see Crompton play better I cannot say Tennessee is underrated.

Don't you know Nick Saban is God incarnate? He could never lose to a lesser team like UT, UAB, or LA-Monroe.....
