I’m sorry… but was that really a touchdown by Giants RB Tyrone Tracy at the 1 ?? (1 Viewer)

Every single-dingle touchdown is reviewed to death and shown from every angle possible.

Was the Giant’s last TD an actually a touchdown because they ( the broadcast) was super quick to NOT REVIEW the play. (???)

I am attempting to post the video clip but it says its too large….

look, New York reviewed it and decided it was a TD for . . . [checks notes] . . . the New York team* - why do you feel you need a replay!?

*New York-team A

btw, it was Saints -6 at some sports books.

Still really iffy on the automatic reviews. Just doesn’t seem right that sometimes teams essentially get free challenges, and it is very arbitrary at times.

What was missing in this instance was showing whatever irrefutable evidence they used to overturn the call on the field. Unless I missed it, the only replay shown was the overhead view and that was inclusive.

I hear you, but that is more on the broadcaster than the league. The league has all of the views at their finger tips and reviewed it. Even from the view we had, it looked like he reached the ball forward but was hard to tell if it was over. Maybe someone with the All 22 film can confirm when it's released.

I understand all of that but from the standpoint of the integrity of the process, incorporate that into the broadcast. I’m not trying to have a debate about the league doesn’t care etc, just pointing out that in most cases, the evidence is clear and it wasn’t this time.

I wanted to punch Moose through my screen. Could see nothing from the half arse replay we got and Moose says, I’m sure he somehow stretched the ball across the line. Instead of, I didn’t see anything that would have caused them to overturn the call on the field. That’s what an unbiased announcer would’ve said.

Trying to find footage of him crossing the goal line is like finding the shooter in the Zapruder film. The camera angle looks like they were filming using the hubble telescope or something.

There didn't seem to be much interest from any of the Giants players...

Yes, that was the problem; that, and calling TD half an hour after the play was over.

I agree. I'm certainly willing to believe that it was a TD, but close and reviewed TDs usually get about three slo-mo replays from the broadcast team. Weird that we never got to see that, even after coming back from the following "break."
