If Matt LaFleur can get the best of Malik Willis then Klint Kubiak should get the same from Spencer Rattler (1 Viewer)

No offense to Malik Willis but no one expected what he did to guide Green Bay to two wins while Jordan Love was injured. No doubt Matt Lefleur and his staff played a part in that because they utilized his strengths and didn't ask him to do more than he could.

The point is this is desperately what we need from The Saints coaching staff as it relates to Spencer Rattler. I know there are some injuries that must be overcome particularly along the Offensive live but stranger things have happened. And there is no better time for it than against the team that has won the division the last 3 years. I'm sure the Bucs will do every they can to stop the run so they can get Rattler in obvious 3rd down passing situations. The best way to beat that is flip the script and stay ahead of the sticks like they did in the Dallas game. Kirk Cousins shredded their defense a week ago. It can be done!!!!

Kk might get the best he can out of Rattler but you cant compare the two situations.

GB was a far healthier team and played against two bad qbs Indy and Tennessee. Malik is also a 3rd year player.

Meanwhile TB is a team with a winning culture and full of talent. If Rattler can make the game close and play good, this will be a good step.

With our current O-line issues, Kubiak is going to need to move the pocket for Rattler whether it be roll outs, bootlegs, something. If we get into a straight drop back situation it’s going to get messy.

Vita Vea is going to destroy the interior of our line, he’s as good as Chris Jones and Jalen Carter. Logan Hall is starting to get going, and they have some really good bookend OLB’s in Shoyinka and Diabi plus David in the middle.

They do still run a lot of cover two, so if our WR’s and Rattler are on the same page, there will be holes to sit in. Our O-line just has to give Rattler the time.

No offense to Malik Willis but I'm sure he was playing behind a better line than Rattler will be playing behind come noon on Sunday.

I just hope the kid makes it out of the game able to walk normally!

LOL Vea is not on the same planet as Jones. He might be in the same solar system as Carter but only because it's just Carter's 2nd yr SMH

This would be a more exciting switch as the position of our line was healthy and productive as it was the first two weeks of the season.

It is still an exciting switch, but you have to be realistic because the same issues that have hindered us in the last three games still exist.

There’s only two ways that I think Sunday will go if Rattler plays the whole game.

In one outcome the legend of Rattler begins with a phenomenal performance with at least three overall TD’s for a win.

In the opposite outcome Rattler turns the ball over at least three times and the Saints lose.

I don’t believe it will be anywhere in between those two extreme outcomes. It’s either three TD’s or three turnovers.

That’s ridiculous.
