I have a friend who is an eagles fan and he told me that sheppard can rotate his elbow, and is at 50% playing level, also he said they plan on putting a cast on him so he can play. My friend said this was on his local news net.

Your friend has different info than Coach Reid. Andy said in his press conference today that Lito is out.

That's cool and all but he is NOT Champ Bailey, though he did make the probowl and sometimes that's not saying too much.

Sheppard was injured going for a tackle on a running play in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 23-20 victory over the New York Giants. He was replaced by Roderick Hood.
William James, who was inactive against the Giants, will take Sheppard's roster spot and join Hood, Sheldon Brown and Joselio Hanson at cornerback.
Should the Eagles advance, it's possible Sheppard could return to the lineup.
"It's a little tricky," coach Andy Reid said Monday. "This week for sure he won't be back. We'll see down the road, if there is a down the road."

lets think about this for a second. if you have a dislocated elbow how can he possibley make a tackle. just my guess but i would say he wont play
