Here are the teams that the Saints and Bears both played and margin of victory (MOV). What I did was for the Divisional games, I averaged the two out (Saints - Tampa & Bears - Green Bay). I know this stuff doesn't matter but it's still interesting at the least. The only team that the Bears beat worse were the 49ers.

Saints Played @ PF AG MOV
San Francisco Home 34 10 24
N.Y. Giants Away 30 7 23
Tampa Bay Div 28 18 10
Green Bay Away 34 27 7
Total 126 62 64
AVG 31 15 16

Bears Played @ PF AG MOV
San Francisco Home 41 10 31
N.Y. Giants Away 38 20 18
Tampa Bay Home 34 31 3
Green Bay Div 17 13 4
Total 130 74 56
AVG 32 19 14

Well the Saitns do have a high ranked secondary this year...And the Saints have been doing great defensively this year.

I just thought it was interesting because I was looking at the Bears message board last night and they were saying how every time we faced a top 10 D we lost (BAL & CAR) and we lost to middle of the road teams (CIN, PITT, WAS), but I think this tells a little more. How did each team fair against the same teams? Stats can be skewed to prove what you want, but they do not lie.
