I don't know if anyone else has already posted about this, but it just came to my attention yesterday...

2009 Super Bowl year the team goes 13-3, first loss was against Dallas during a night game, then losses to Tampa Bay and Carolina to finish out the season.

2015 we lose the first 3 games in a row (including losses to Tampa Bay at home and Carolina on the road - same as 2009) and then have our first win against Dallas at home during a night game!

Does this mean we're going to win the next 12 games in a row and go win another Super Bowl????? I think so!!!!! And just as one other side note - our 2nd win of the season in 2009 was against Philly in Philly - let that all sink in and let your mind be blown!

What happened in 2009 is that the free beer I was getting in the dome was cutoff starting with the Dallas game so we started losing regular season games.

It can't be anything else!

If that didn't happen the Saints would have joined Miami in the perfect season club.

No we lost all the preseason games. so instead of 4-0 after regular season, we lost all 4 before regular season. after the next 13 wins. our fate is in our hands.
