After losing twice to Atlanta in 78 by that score, a victory in either would have put the Saints in their first playoffs, not to mention a few others to them over the year by that score, this is the first time I can remember coming out on top.

A new era begins!

I remember that game like it was yesterday. So painful. Today was at least a little revenge.

That’s when Bubby told us we were going to dance on the tables at Pat O’Brien’s

But we didn’t.

The lowest scoring scenario could have been 3-2 and I would have taken that gladly at this point.

Much love for my fellow 40- and 50-somethings who don't forget the past. As much as I love watching old games on YT, there's a few I won't ever rewatch. The two losses to Atlanta in '78 and the home game in '79 are prime examples :)
