J.C. Jackson traded to New England (Reunites With Belichick) (1 Viewer)

What you don't see here is Belichick's genius... the patriots could have re-signed Jackson but they let him walk via free agency. Belichick then trades for the guy, but what he did was get Jackson on a contract where he doesn't have to pay the signing bonus. The Chargers are still on the hook for that bonus. I don't know what Jackson's contract is, but Belichick got him back on the cheap, and all he had to give up was late round pick swaps. He didn't even give away anything but draft position.

Smart move.

I just pray Belichick doesn't find another QB. I have an immense respect for his accomplishments, but holy cow am I so done with New England being in every AFC Championship game and Super Bowl.
