What the hell's with this "interview"??? Greer said one thing, mentioning how he wanted to apologize for apparently saying on the show last week that people should cut Paterno some slack, and then Rome went on some 5min talk about it, which is still ongoing. Haven't heard a peep from Jabari since, I don't even think he's there anymore.

Was that it?? Just coming on to apologize for something last week? That was disappointing.

EDIT: Rome just said they're gonna come back with Greer after the break now. Haha what a weird interview...

Oh really? Haha my bad, it sounded like he introduced him there.

Just heard the interview. Unfortunately they never got into any Saints talk, Rome at one point said he kept trying to but Jabari's just got such an interesting back story that they ended up focusing on that the entire time.

Greer seems like such a good guy. Good family man, humble, sounds intelligent and very aware of others. Didn't realize he had Olympic aspirations in track either. Good interview, just too bad they didn't say one thing about the Saints.

He basically talked about growing up in Tennessee and the transition of being a familiy man and making it in the NFL.

He talked about all the people who helped shaped him in Buffalo and thanked them for taking a chance on him.

Rome ran out of time with hard line commercial break.

heard Greer on WWL870 yesterday and i came away very impressed. He talked a bit about his blog and how much of a perfectionist he is when it comes to writing. Talked about Roddy White and how he hasn't aware of the trash talk prior to the game and mentioned how humble pie tastes the worst and basically that every player has his own schtick. The dude sounds very intelligent and I am now a big fan!
