N/S Jaguars Gets Approval for Stadium Upgrades (1 Viewer)

So, is it a new stadium or an upgraded stadium? BDM
Excerpt from ESPN article.

"JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville City Council voted 14-1 Tuesday night to approve an agreement between the Jaguars and the city on a $1.4 billion renovation of EverBank Stadium."

London was never a serious option.
Realistically, they’ll be one international game per week and that 8am time slot becomes a permanent fixture.

But good for Jacksonville, this League doesn’t rely on market size, so if they’re successful, they’ll get the attention they deserve.

Jacksonville is a boring city.
That being said, I’m glad they are keeping the team.
I like in Jax. The downtown definitely isn’t great. There are tons of things to do but it’s pretty spread out. We have great surfing, not bad traffic, and a relatively uncrowned beach so it works. I usually go to a Jags game or two a year. The heat is stifling. There was a game last year that about 200 people had heat injuries. The new stadium will definitely improve attendance.
