We now have 3 ex QB as coaches, so if he falls far enough I take and see if we can coach him upMilroe is very intriguing to me. Wouldn’t be upset if the team took him with a late flyer.
Do y’all think he can improve his accuracy enough to be Hurts 2.0? That’s the closest comp I can see….from watching a lot of both of em.
I think that Justin Fields without college passing production is his best comp. In the 2nd round, why not? But for a close to zero chance that he pans out at QB…no way I take him at #9.I believe he can. Unlike a player like Anthony Richardson, who looks like he does not work on his passing game at all.
Yeah I think 2nd/3rd is goodI think that Justin Fields without college passing production is his best comp. In the 2nd round, why not? But for a close to zero chance that he pans out at QB…no way I take him at #9.
Tend to agree.I think I’m at the point where I’d rather see the Saints draft Jalen Milroe at pick #40 (or trading into the back end of the 1st round) than drafting Shedeur Sanders at pick #9. Sounds like Milroe is going to attend the draft, so 1st round seems very possible.
I’d rather take a chance on Milroe’s rare physical skillset and hope Kellen Moore can get the most out of him. He obviously has a high bust risk, but I’d rather try again in 2-3 years if need be than be stuck with Andy Dalton type mediocrity for a long period of time. If Milroe can continue to develop and take that “next step” most had hoped to see this past season all of the sudden a GM would look like a genius grabbing him. For what it’s worth I think Milroe is a better QB prospect than Anthony Richardson was.
If you (Saints) feel this way and I tend to agree, you take him at 9 and don't screw around. It's going to be a fun few weeks!I think I’m at the point where I’d rather see the Saints draft Jalen Milroe at pick #40 (or trading into the back end of the 1st round) than drafting Shedeur Sanders at pick #9. I myself wasn't to impressed at his pro day !If Milroe is going to be a first round pick and the team is hellbent on drafting him, the only way I would accept it is if we traded down with a team like the Steelers so they can land Sanders for 21 while gaining more picks in process.
Otherwise he's not a guy I would gamble on in the first.
