NFL Draft QB Jalen Milroe’s development? [April 7: Saints worked out Jalen Milroe] [Seahawks draft Milroe in 3rd round, pick #92] (2 Viewers)

We need to pull the cam/mark move again

Jeanty then whatever you got to package to secure milroe

We probably could lead the league in rushing

You and I have the same vision. Get the RB and QB for now, work on the rest of the rebuild later.

That 4.3 40 at the QB position could be deadly, if Moore can coach him up in the passing game.

I would love it if Moore believes he can make Milroe into a Hurts. His running ability is on the level of Lamar. If he can get his passing on the level of Lamar or Hurts he could be a MVP level player.

I don't get it. Yes, he's an off the charts athlete but he needs to sit a couple of years at least to be a starting QB. Reminds me of Willis and Richardson in terms of his passing abilty.

I like Milroe, and will be surprised if he doesn’t become a solid starting qb in the league. I don’t think he’s gonna light it up, but can have a decent career, kinda like Carr.

Hurts and Lamar were both better passes at this stage than Milroe. I don't think he's worth a first-round pick as a passer.

With Milroe, you're sort of banking on getting a Taysom type with a small bonus shot at actually becoming a starting QB. I'd say that's worth a 2nd if you have a plan in place to get him involved while he's developing and learning.

Wouldn't be my favorite pick at 40, but I'd understand the logic.

Someone mentioned having 3 ex QBs as coaches could coach him up and I agree
I'm of the opinion that if THIS staff, with 3 ex-NFL QBs, can't develop a QB and the QB is a bust; then it's the player, not the coaching. With that said, picking the right player is PARAMOUNT to success, because if a QB busts with this staff, he ain't playing in the NFL.
