Hope he gets back healthy and in a Saints uniform
Saw this one during the offseason making fun of his workouts...can't wait to see more:It just hit me. We're probably going to get rehab videos of him doing something random like sliding on the floor with his knee on a hacky sack or swiveling around in an office chair while ducking from tennis balls...and I'm giddy with anticipation! Let's go!
I'm not a therapist but put a damn brace on there. These vids are nice but images are probably more important. Get well soon Jameis, we need you 100% next year!It just hit me. Well said.I never imagined there would be a bizarro world in which I would say this, but the last 2 years have been a bizarro world: Jameis is our best chance to win for the next 2 years IF he will return at a price we can afford. I assume that Russ would require more than Jameis. But, from what I have read, we will not be in a position to draft a franchise qb next year, and if we draft one in 2 years, he will take time to develop, as will Book if he will be the guy. So, I hope we can get him back at an affordable price. I don't want another season like this one.
And what a lot of people obviously don't understand is that by using our draft capital to draft WRs/TEs other offensive skill players that we're so desperately lacking is that it makes the other QBs on our roster (including Hill), instantly better as well.Well said.
I don't think there is any fan that wouldn't want Russ on the team, but the better of the two options is keeping Winston and loading up with offensive talent at TE and WR. We desperately need to increase the talent at these two positions.
Trautman should be our 2nd/3rd string not our starter and outside of Harris and MT our WR group is horrid.

I NEVER imagined I’d say this, but I would rather have Winston back than any of the QBs in this draft class… or paying an arm and leg in compensation and salary for Russell Wilson.I never imagined there would be a bizarro world in which I would say this, but the last 2 years have been a bizarro world: Jameis is our best chance to win for the next 2 years IF he will return at a price we can afford. Get Winston back… sign a FA and draft another high-end WR (2 WRs).

I'm a Russ fan but with his decline in athleticism, he will have to work in the pocket. What made him special was everything but that...lol. If he down with the reclamation project to make him a better pocket QB (reading the field, making the right throw to keep the chains going, playing the middle of the field, screen passes), I'm down. No point to wanting a QB who won't hit CGM and AK where they eat at.
But anyone watching the game should know that QB1 wasn't the issue, so why would we go all in on a QB that won't allow us to get the pieces that we actually need now.
