I am wondering if any of you think the 49ers have completely mishandled Jimmy Garoppolo? Shanahan couldn't instill confidence in a greek god. I don't understand why he pulled Garapollo in the middle of game. Something you would have never seen Payton do to Brees. Shanahan basically spent all year talking trash about Jimmy but then confirming on the outside that he 'loves Jimmy' and has nothing but respect for him. They use all their draft picks on Trey Lance but aren't able to put him in the game cause the guy keeps getting hurt. They then ride Jimmy's coattails and say he isn't good enough. dude goes and gets off season surgery and now they can't trade him even if they wanted to. Maybe they can get a 5th rounder for him but everyone knows he's got them where he wants them.
To me, this is the difference between a winning and losing organization. A winning organization wouldn't do this to one of its players.
