I am just going to try and enjoy tonight’s game against the Packers. Yes, I will want them to win the second the ball is snapped but I am going to watch the pregame show & stay up for the whole game. And I think we all should because this may be the last time we see the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football for a while. Granted, MNF has lost the magic it once had due to the oversaturation of the NFL (TNF, SNF and Saturday games – which by the way, why the hell are two games being played against the first round of the NCAA Playoffs??) but it is still a prime time game. The Saints can be watched by all.

So, just enjoy the show and hope they don’t embarrass themselves on the national stage.

Hoping they surprise us and at least make a semi-competitive game out of it, but I have a feeling that it’s going to be an early bed night.

Games scheduled on NCAA Playoff Saturday threw me for a loop as well. Probably because NFL was hell bent on Wednesday games for Christmas (which also sucks for FFL finals BTW). Oh well. Whatever makes billion$, I guess.

Last night, the Cowboys showed the football watching world what it looks like to play for yourself, your team, and your fans, having nothing to play for vs. a team with a lot to play for. This is with a backup QB, a coach on the hot seat and a failed season.
I hope we have a very good showing tonight.

If losing this game guarantees to keep us off of the Monday night schedule list, then I hope we lose so badly that we are written off forever! It would be a dream of mine for the Saints to only play their regular season games on Sunday afternoon or evening. They can keep Monday, Thursday, or overseas for the other teams. It's just not natural to play anytime other than Sunday after noon local time!

Since we are eliminated from the playoffs all I'm pulling for these last three games is looking really good but still losing by 1 to 3 points.
