The New Orleans Saints have announced that they will be wearing their white road jerseys and black pants for their matchup in Week 8 with the Los Angeles Chargers. Khalen Saunders made the announcement for the Saints’ uniform combination on the Saints’ official social media channels.
This is the first time the Saints have donned the white tops with black bottoms in 2024. New Orleans has been primarily wearing black jerseys. They wore black in their four home games and also on the road against the Dallas Cowboys. The Saints pulled out white jersey twice this year and paired it with white pants each time.
The Saints have performed well in these uniforms. Since 2006, white on black slightly edges black on black for the best win percentage at .603. Maybe this will be the spark to get the Saints back in the win column for the first time since the second week of the season.
