They see Deion not Shedeur... they don't see his accuracy they only see him taking too many sacks.....
Sacks will come when you have shaky O-Line play and no run game. Despite that, dude completed 74% of his passes. He threw for over 4,000 yards and scored 41 TDs and threw 10 picks. That's pretty darn good to me.

The hate for this kid on SR is crazy. If you put his stats up without the name attached everybody would be OK with the pick. Nothing Mel said was a lie.
Yep, gotta love good ole "Lousyanna" where, in 2025, we'll still base our feelings (about whether or not the Saints should draft a QB) on our own ridiculous prejudicial bias. Nevermind the FACT that he's the most Pro-Ready prospect in this year's class. Let's focus on him being Deon's son and that he doesn't look like what we envisioned the new face of the franchise should be. 😏 Nevermind his high football IQ and penchant for diagnosing what the opposing defense is doing. Let's focus on his cocky attitude and flamboyance. 😏 Meanwhile, Joe Burrow (whom the Lousyanna faithful loves) is/was just as cocky. Most football experts would say that a high level of confidence is a sought after trait for an NFL QB. The QB has to be an Alpha Dog, A leader. Brady was that. Burrow is that now, So is Allen, Mahomes, all the top guys. So what's the problem with Sanders confidence and swagger? Good Ole Lousyanna fans 😏

But, Shedduer would inject some much needed life into this organization. Something it desperately needs. Also he would signify the dawn of a new day. I can't wait! WHO DAT!

Let’s get Archie he’s not cocky he’s confident
His family isn’t a circus or problematic
Hmmm

You're sprouting a lot of things as if it's all true and completely ignoring facts that dispute you're claim.

1. Somewhere around half of his passes were to the LOS. You can blame the Oline all you want, but you can't see that and hype his completion percentage at the same time. In fact, it's fair to question why his completion percentage wasn't higher since around half his throws over 5 yards were incomplete.
2. He's had 1 coach all through high school AND college. This brings into question adaptability among many other things.
3. He never once took over a game. It was always Travis Hunter. Every highlight reel you watch turns into a Travis Hunter highlight reel.
4. His football IQ is absolutely in question, as he tanked every time he played against a disguise defense, see BYU/Nebraska.
5. Has demonstrated poor ability to control frustration, shoving referees. This also goes back to his Dad coaching him all through high school and college. If his Dad as coach has trouble helping him keep his cool, what chance does another coach have?

Nothing about those 5 things scream "Most NFL Ready". And citing prejudicial bias for recognizing that doesn't make any sense when most of the people who don't want him would be perfectly happy drafting Ward.

For over a month now, its been rumored and said many times that teams don't have a first round grade on him, let alone a top 10 pick grade. I'm sure all those diverse ethnicity professionals must also be prejudice, yet their citing Ward as the "Most NFL Ready" QB in this draft class? Make that make sense.

I would venture to say that anyone citing "Prejudice" regarding not wanting to draft Sanders are simply racially charged themselves.

You're the first one to bring up Arch in this thread, but since you did, Arch hasn't played for his dad for his entire playing career.

No one bats an eye when someone says they don't want Tet McMillan at 9 overall, why are yall crying when people have a preference on other players to Shedeur. That's not hate towards Shedeur any more than I'm not hating Malaki Starks because I don't want him at 9.
