There was a documentary about this incident made in 2019 that is well worth a watch if you can get it. It was on Netflix, I'm not sure if it still is. The film is directed by the same guy who made the documentary.

Obviously don't watch if you are going to see the film!

Honestly, id rather watch docs than full feature movie, since film will take "artistic liberties" with the story.
