Commanders fans aren't too happy about this.

One of the best parts of the post is the N/S label. He was the only great CB ever drafted by the Saints, but unavailable so often.
Indeed. CB is the historically weakest position of them all dating back to the start of the Saints. It's a short list for any all-time Saints roster -- Latt, Greer, Porter, McKenzie, and that's pretty much it. Porter was a draft pick and the other two were FAs, but I'd have to put Latt ahead of them all.

Missed 10 games in 2022.
Missed 7 games in 2023.
Hamstring issues in camp that have worsened as the season's gone on in 2024 that has caused him to miss 2 games now.

He's 28 years old.

I love Lattimore, but this was a savvy move by Loomis to move an aging and injury prone CB before the rest of the league figured this out.

& Breax ... what could have been 😪

we should have tried to trade lattimore in offseason for a first and maybe slight change. his cap was always an issue and he had great value despite a high contract probably needing retooling long term.
