Only Tucker is better at 90.48%.

Since the second half of 2017, Lutz has made 54 of his last 58 FGs for a 93.1% clip.

One of those 4 misses was from 56 yards.

He has made 8 of his last 11 from 50+ yards.

So a 4 year career qualifies as best of all time?

Adam Vinatieri and Morten Andersen were suckers for playing longer.
Yep after you attempted 100 FGs.

Pretty sure that thread title says 2nd most accurate of all time, not second greatest kicker of all time.

Sometimes coach takes a few years to get it right but boy when he nails it, he nails it. I'm thinking Morestead (who I'm pretty sure everyone doubted as a draft pick), Lutz, possibly Bridgewater (our backups have sucked), Demario Davis (only Vilma was a recent success), Lattimore, and maybe some position coaches.

Amazing how we got him. Also amazing that the Ravens had them both.

Crazy that John Harbaugh had his pick of the two. And we owe him gratitude for telling Sean to grab him.

Payton is a coach’s coach - they know how hard he worked from the very bottom to the very top. He’s entirely self made and I think most of them have a lot of respect for him. Harbaugh saw Lutz’s talent and sent him to a good place with a coach he respects - and an NFC team he won’t see very often. That’s a quality move all around.

Couldn't agree more. Only Dallas fans would disagree honestly.
