I was a huge fan back in the day. Saw them twice before the crash. I've seen the somewhat current lineup a couple of times but it was never the same.

10/20/77 I was 19 years old and had left La and was spending my first night in Co in my van with my Husky when I heard about the crash on the radio.

I still have the Rolling Stone magazine with the article about the crash in a box in the attic.

My sister had tickets to go see the show in Baton Rouge.

She threw those tickets away.
